SITUATION VACANT, KAHUTA HAVELI CAMPUS: Applications on prescribed forms are invited for the following teaching positions to be filled on a contract basis specifically for Kahuta Haveli Campus:

Assistant Professor (Contract), BPS-19

Department: Computer Science (01 position)
Eligibility: As per Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria
Age limit: 40 years

Lecturer (Contract), BPS-18

Departments:
i. Computer Science (02 positions)
ii. English (01 position)
Eligibility: As per Higher Education Commission (HEC) criteria
Age limit: 40 years

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Candidates must submit attested copies of their degrees, photos, result cards, transcripts, and certificates (duly attested by the concerned educational Board and HEC, where applicable), research publications (where applicable), along with the application form in person or by mail (General Post) to the Registrar, University of Poonch Rawalakot.
Separate application forms must be submitted for each post applied for, with all required documents completed.
Application forms can be obtained from the Registrar’s Office, University of Poonch Rawalakot, after paying Rs. 4000 (for BPS-19 and above) or Rs. 2000 (for BPS-17 & 18) on a Habib Bank Challan in favor of the Treasurer, University of Poonch Rawalakot. Alternatively, forms can be downloaded from www.upr.edu.pk and sent with a bank draft.
The age limit does not apply to regular in-service University employees. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel to avail of age relaxation.
Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
Candidates must attach Marks Obtained / Total Marks Certificates for all degrees. CGPA is not acceptable, and UPR’s percentage formula will apply.
Relevant experience claimed by applicants will only be considered if supported by documentary proof.
The basic and terminal qualifications (where applicable) must be registered with the relevant Council/regulatory body.
Candidates’ terminal qualifications must be in the relevant subject or field, with preference given to those whose entire academic career is in the relevant subject/field.
Recruitment is campus-specific. If appointed, the duty station will be Kahuta-Haveli Campus and cannot be transferred to the Main Campus. Appointees must execute a Surety Bond before joining.
The University reserves the right to cancel any or all advertised posts as deemed necessary.
If more than 30 applicants apply for any position, a written/screening test will be conducted for shortlisting.
Preference will be given to AJK nationals.
