JOB OPPORTUNITIES: Reconciliation Cell, Energy Department, Government of the Punjab invites applications from suitable and enthusiastic candidates, domiciled in Punjab, to fill up the following SNE posts for the projects namely “Reconciliation of Govt. electricity billing by installing AMI meters (Pilot project)” and “Reconciliation of Govt. electricity billing by installing AMI meters (2nd phase)” after conversion from development to non-development side on contract basis for a period of three (03) years (extendable on satisfactory performance). The requisite qualification /experience and other conditions are given as under:-

Positions and Qualifications:

Accountant (BPS 15): BS (sixteen years of education) with Accounting as a major subject or B.Com (second division) with three years’ experience as Accountant. Age limit: 21-30 years.
Junior Computer Operator (BPS 12): Higher Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board, Intermediate in Computer Science (second division), and knowledge of M.S. Office or Intermediate in Computer Science with 40 words per minute typing in English on Computer. Age limit: 18-25 years.
Junior Clerk (BPS 11): Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) with 25 words per minute typing in English. Note: Preference may be given to a candidate who also knows Urdu typing at a speed of 25 words per minute. Age limit: 18-25 years.
Test Assistant (BPS 11): Diploma in Associate Engineering in Electrical or Electronics from a recognized Technical Board. Age limit: 18-25 years.
LT. Clerk (BPS 11): Secondary School Certificate and Diploma in Information Technology with one year’s experience or Intermediate in Computer Science (second division). Age limit: 18-25 years.
Meter Installer (BPS 06): Secondary School Certificate. Age limit: 18-25 years.

Applications below BS-11 (Sr. No. 06) shall be submitted on plain paper in the Office of Chief Engineer, Reconciliation cell, 27-Jahangir Park, LOS Road, New Mozang, Lahore. (Attested copies of all relevant documents including education certificates, CNIC, Domicile, Experience, 3-Nos. passport size photographs, etc. must be sent alongwith the application).
Five (05) years relaxation in upper age limit is admissible against above said posts for males and eight (08) years for females. 4. Candidates already working in Government / Semi-Government / Autonomous Bodies may apply through proper channel.
The recruitment will be made strictly on merit from all Punjab basis in accordance with the Rules, eligibility criteria, selection criteria and other provisions of Contract Appointment Policy-2004 of S&GAD amended from time to time and Recruitment Policy 2022.
Only short listed candidates will be called for the test / interview.
No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for test/interview.
15% quota for females, 3% for disables and 5% for minorities is reserved.
