CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Established in 2004, the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under Section 42 with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Our volunteer-based Board of Directors includes distinguished professionals from various sectors, along with representatives from the Federal Government and the Government of Sindh.
During these two decades, NAPA has established itself as the leading institution in Pakistan for training and educating talented individuals in drama, stagecraft, acting, direction, music, singing, and cultural productions. Our alumni play pivotal roles in enhancing the cultural landscape across multiple domains.
As part of our expansion, we are seeking applications for the position of
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Following are the key responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, focusing on staff development and departmental growth.
- Draft, update and implement policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Design and implement creative initiatives that align with NAPA’s mission and vision.
- Lead fundraising initiatives to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
- Coordinate with federal and provincial governments for compliance and reporting requirements.
- Work closely with senior management and the Board of Directors to elevate NAPA’s impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pakistani citizen, aged 55 or younger.
- Preferably hold a Master’s degree in an Arts discipline or Business Administration from a recognized university.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior management position, with supervision of administrative, financial, and marketing functions, ideally within the education or non-profit sectors.
- Strong artistic sensibility and a passion for promoting arts education and training.
- Experience in a cultural or arts institution and a deep understanding of the local art scene will be considered advantageous.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills, complemented by strong public speaking abilities.
