Descon is seeking a highly experienced professional for the role of Lead Subcontracting. This critical position involves managing and controlling subcontracting activities across the Business Unit and project levels, emphasizing policies, procedures and proper documentation through standard formats.
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Engineering with MBA preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the Company’s Subcontracting Process as defined in SOPs, Method Statements, Formats, and JDs.
- Recommend changes and additions to DIMS documents for best practices.
- Ensure all subcontract/services expenses are within budget and monitor overall project subcontract status.
- Analyze overrun cases and advise on precautionary measures.
- Explore potential subcontracting resources for all Business Units.
- Pre-qualify subcontractors and collect performance feedback for registration renewal.
- Implement systems (SAP/SMART) to streamline subcontracting processes.
- Ensure critical subcontracting activity reporting and problem-solving for various projects.
- Maintain organization’s market reputation through efficient subcontractor management.
