FiveRivers Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cold calling and lead generation, particularly in a B2B sales environment. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation and closing abilities, and a results-oriented mindset to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct targeted cold calls to prospective clients, introducing them to Company Name’s products/services and identifying opportunities for partnership or collaboration.
· Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly quotas for new business development.
· Develop a deep understanding of the company name’s offerings, value proposition, and competitive landscape to communicate with prospects effectively.
· Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, update client information, and generate reports on sales activity and performance.
· Collaborate closely with the sales team to strategize on prospecting approaches, refine messaging, and optimize outreach tactics.
· Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on prospecting efforts, sharing insights, and contributing to team goals.
· Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and areas for growth.
· Assist with other business development initiatives as needed, including attending networking events, conducting market research, and supporting marketing campaigns.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record of success in cold calling and lead generation, preferably in a B2B sales environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects, build rapport, and convey value propositions effectively over the phone.
· Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
