We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Manager of Sewing Planning at our knit garment manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sewing plans/line loading to meet production targets.
To make weekly and monthly plans and adhere to the operation head.
Collaborate with the production team to schedule sewing operations according to order priorities and deadlines.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Work closely with the fabric team and procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials required for sewing operations.
Implement and maintain systems for tracking and reporting production progress, including daily output, efficiency, and deviations.
Capacity vs booking to identify and communicate over & under bookings areas.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in textile engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sewing planning or garment production management, preferably in a knit garment manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, machinery, and equipment used in knit garment production.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Leadership abilities with a proven track record of team management and development.
Understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

The Officer of Sewing Planning will play a vital role in supporting the planning and coordination of sewing operations to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of high-quality knit garments.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing sewing plans in coordination with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Support the scheduling of sewing operations based on order priorities and production capacity.
Collect and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in sewing processes.
Collaborate with the fabric, induction, and accessories team to ensure the timely availability of sewing materials and components.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in textile engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in garment manufacturing or production planning is preferred.
Basic understanding of cut-to-pack flow layout, techniques, machinery, and equipment used in knit garment production.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate efficiently with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer skills.
