Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager in Finance with a focus on Purchasing. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the procurement process, vendor development, and system improvement projects to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
Oversee the procurement of equipment, spares, and consumables, both locally and through imports.
Manage the entire Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle efficiently and effectively.
Vendor Development:
Develop and nurture relationships with vendors, particularly for high consumption materials.
Explore alternate sourcing options to achieve cost reduction and improve delivery timelines.
System Improvement Projects:
Lead initiatives to enhance the buying process and reduce lead times through system improvements.
Identify areas for process optimization and implement strategic solutions to streamline operations.
Stakeholder Management:
Schedule and conduct progress meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational goals.
Skills Required:
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office:
Demonstrated experience in utilizing SAP for procurement activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of PowerBI will be considered an additional advantage.
Communication and Presentation Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively convey ideas, negotiate contracts, and present findings to stakeholders.
