Position: Senior Analyst

We are currently looking for a highly driven, motivated Senior Analyst, Logistics Operations (APAC) to work in our regional APAC team. You will be responsible for supporting the APAC countries to provide a better experience to our customers through more efficient logistics. This role will be based in Pakistan.

Responsibilities:

You will be empowered to take full responsibility for improving logistics operations.
Work on regional projects for our 11 APAC markets to improve logistics operations performance, with a focus on customer experience and retention.
Analyze big sets of product data to understand our riders, vendors and customers’ behavior, to define the direction our products should develop.
Transform big data sets into visualizations to help yourself and the team make the right decisions.
Potential projects:
Analyze large data sets to identify areas to optimizing spending that improve rider and consumer experience
Understand demand patterns and collaborate with growth marketing to improve forecasting accuracy
Analyze and execute optimal delivery fee structures to improve overall gross profit
Identify opportunities to improve staffing efficiency in supply crunch zones
Requirements:

You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or another quantitative field.
You have at least 2-4 years of work experience in analytical roles for high growth startups, investment banking, consulting or logistics environment
You love data analysis. Excellent SQL and Excel skills are a must. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio) is a plus.
You enjoy working independently and are reliable

foodpanda is looking for a talented individual to join the team as Data Analyst in Pakistan. The role is based in Lahore, Pakistan and will report into Senior Manager – Commercial Growth & Performance Analytics

Responsibilities:

You develop accessible, creative and engaging data visualizations to facilitate access to insight using Tableau.
You create new data analyses based on business requirements from stakeholders.
You are engaging with key stakeholders to understand the business vision, requirements & priorities and helping to translate this into actionable insights.
You are analyzing trends in our data and providing insight and explanation to our local teams to improve their operations using data.
You help identify, define and specify future insight and data needs to support the different business units.
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to build well-crafted, pragmatic data products.

Requirements:

You have 1-2 years experience as a BI/Data analyst.
You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, economics, engineering or demonstrable relevant practical
You are highly proficient in SQL.
You are creative in data visualization (Tableau or another modern visualization tool is a must).
Competence with reproducible data analysis using Python.
Strong command over the entire data analysis lifecycle including; problem formulation, data auditing, rigorous analysis, interpretation, recommendations, and presentation.
Familiarity with BigQuery and the Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Experience using git.
Data engineering and data pipeline development experience (e.g. via Airflow) is a plus.
