HOPSCOTCH® a kidswear brand operating since 2014, having a presence in the major cities of Pakistan, is looking for an “Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance” to join its Finance team.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll
Prepare financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders, including monthly financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and annual budgets
Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions, including pricing, inventory management, and capital expenditures
Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to provide financial support and ensure alignment with company goals
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and tax authorities
Develop and mentor accounting and finance team members to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction
Oversee month / quarter end financial close.
Ensure compliance for donor and entity audits and act as a liaison person during audits.
Assist Head of Finance/CFO & CEO in developing and updating strategic/ business plan.

Requirements:

Master’s degree/ member of ACMA, ACCA, ICMA or CMA certification preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the retail industry
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations, including IFRS and GAAP
Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
Experience with accounting software.
