Lucky Core Industries Limited is hiring a Manager Factory Cost Control based in Karachi.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing the cost of producing goods and will have to collaborate with various plant-related departments to ensure production is as cost-efficient as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with all operational departments for areas related to product costing, covering both fixed and variable costs, and ensuring all costs are accurately tracked.
- Monitor and update cost estimates on SAP for production.
- Review and analyse expense reports.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Production, Engineering, Quality, etc.
- Conduct cost analysis to identify areas of productivity.
- Ensure accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and prevent discrepancies by ensuring relevant controls are in place to restrict unauthorised changes. Ensure that all batches are sequentially created and completed.
- Monitor budget to ensure that spending does not exceed approved levels.
- Prepare expense/cost reports for the management.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting process for the plant, consolidating and aligning cross-functional inputs from Production, Quality, and Supply Chain. Calculate the accurate standard cost to be locked for a year. Improve budget templates and conduct year on year analysis for business strategy stewardship.
- Ensure timely financial closing of the production plant in SAP, ensuring that all accruals/expenses have been posted, raw/packing material has been issued against each process order and machine/labour hours are posted against them.
- Prepare monthly variances report.
