We are looking to add a member to our Engineering (Mechanical) team, who is an expert in project planning, budgeting, technical designing, technical procurement and execution of projects within budgeted amounts & targeted time in a safe & Engineering compliant manner.

The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:

Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and follow the investment project charter throughout the project.
Execute basic and detailed designs of the project based on corporate business principles, DFL standards, local regulations, the defined User Requirements Specifications, and the TPM characteristics of a unit operation.
Ensure safety measures are incorporated in the project design for workers and operators during construction and ongoing operation of the plant.
Implement the engineering side of the project, including buildings, equipment erections, piping, utilities, etc., according to defined timing, cost, and quality, the URS, and the characteristics of a unit operation.
Select and qualify contractors and coordinate their activities.
Support the start-up manager and their team to ensure a smooth transition to operations after the qualification and verification of the installation.
Contribute to and support the preparation and distribution of the engineering project documentation, including the engineering part of the project final report, and provide feedback to the Maintenance Prevention System.
Good negotiation, strategic, leadership, analytical, interpersonal and pressure handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership.
Has at least 7 to 8 years of experience in the Projects/Engineering Department of a (preferably denim/textile) manufacturing concern. An ideal candidate will have relevant working experience in projects and maintenance from client’s/customer’s side.
Qualification Requirements: Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification. knowledge of fabrication, piping, and workshop operations, SAP, and experience in managing utilities such as boilers, HVAC, RO, and wastewater, as well as experience in installation and commissioning.
