POSITION: General Manager Academics

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Master’s degree, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 15 years of experience in education, with progressive leadership roles in Academics and Education Management. Strong expertise in curriculum development, teacher training, professional development, and academic administration. Experience leading multi-campus/regional teams, implementing academic strategy, and overseeing quality assurance across school networks is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic leadership to ensure consistent academic standards and quality across UCS.
Lead and develop the Academics Department through coaching, mentoring, delegation, and succession planning.
Develop and implement academic strategies, policies, curriculum, and frameworks aligned with UCS objectives.
Oversee academic resources, assessment, benchmarking, monitoring, KPIs, and quality assurance.
Lead teacher training, professional development, and capacity-building initiatives.
Work with regional teams and School Heads to identify academic gaps and implement improvement plans.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in teaching, learning, assessment, and educational technology.
Ensure effective collaboration with senior leadership and other functions for successful implementation across UCS.

POSITION: Manager Business Development

QUALIFICATION: MBA in Marketing or any other relevant field

EXPERIENCE: At least 8-10 years of experience in Sales/Business Development

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Territory / Distribution Plan for rolling out of UCS campuses in Northern Region
Sell and present the UCS franchise model to prospective & new investors
Develop & implement strategies to grow the business and increase revenue
Manage and expand the network of franchise campuses in the Northern Region by conducting market surveys and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
Conduct competitor and customer analyses to identify and explore potential markets
Develop a reliable and accurate marketing information system (statistics, target market info, competitors research etc.) to facilitate strategic decision making for marketing and management purposes
Develop and implement communication campaigns with appropriate media in order to attract queries from prospective investors.
Strict monitoring of business KPIs

EXPERIENCE: 10-12 years of overall experience, including 5 years in teaching and 7 years in education administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic plans to improve academic standards, student outcomes, and overall school performance in alignment with organisational policies and objectives.
Oversee curriculum delivery, teaching quality, student assessments, and examination processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and academic frameworks.
Drive student enrollment and retention through effective admissions strategies, community engagement, branding initiatives, and stakeholder relationship management.
Manage school operations including budgeting, resource allocation, infrastructure maintenance, safety compliance, and smooth administrative functioning.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate academic and non-academic staff by implementing performance management systems, professional development plans, and fostering a positive, disciplined, and collaborative school culture.
