Responsibilities:

  • To oversee all academic planning and smooth implementation of curriculum in the branch/ section.
  • To check out activities for the school which promote learning and are in line with the school vision.
  • To monitor the steady implementation of all administrative tasks.
  • To handle all preliminary selections (recruitments), staffing and training of teachers.
  • To take decisions which affect the day-to-day handling of branch/ section affairs.
  • To conduct teacher evaluation by means of class observations, copy checking and other evaluative procedures.
  • To conduct meetings and organize functions.
  • Have sound knowledge of all accounts and relevant systems and procedures of the school and apply this knowledge when required.
  • To follow instructions of higher authorities in all matters pertaining to the school.
  • To manage parental involvement by conducting sessions, interview and meetings with parents.
  • To follow all examination and assessment procedures as chalked out by the TCS system.
  • Maintenance of clean, healthy and secure learning environment.
  • Maintenance of discipline on school premises.
  • Liaising with parents and students.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain high academic standards in the school, providing guidance to computer teachers on effective curriculum development.
  • Monitor and ensure the successful implementation of the computing curriculum across the region.
  • Conduct regular evaluations, including lesson observations, notebook scrutiny, and review of lesson plans, while actively participating in coordination meetings.
  • Visit regional schools to maintain detailed records, serving as a valuable resource for the annual review and analysis of academic development and achievement.
  • Prepare Academic Visit Reports that provide actionable insights to school leadership, facilitating continuous improvement in academic standards.
  • Maintain overall quality assurance for the computing curriculum implementation, ensuring alignment with international educational standards.
  • Strengthen the schoolโ€™s computing curriculum by regularly reviewing it against international curriculums, incorporating best practices for a comprehensive educational experience.
  • Provide training to existing subject coordinators and mentors, enabling them to effectively implement the computing curriculum in schools.
  • Propose and plan development programs for students in the field of computing, fostering their skills and knowledge in alignment with the latest industry standards.
  • Take responsibility for setting examination papers in accordance with the schoolโ€™s policies for Mid-Year Examinations (MYE) and End-of-Year (EoY) examinations.
  • Maintain close collaboration with the Regional Exam Coordinator and Head of Department (Examination) to ensure the smooth execution of examination processes.
  • Monitor the internal examination paper checking process, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with TCS policies and procedures.
  • Implement measures to maintain the quality and fairness of internal examinations, fostering an environment of academic integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Head Master/ Mistress or substitute in the absence of the Head in the day to day running of the school.
  • The role involves supporting the headmaster/ headmistress in creating morale and confidence among the teaching staff.
  • To provide support to the Head Master/ Head Mistress in managing the branch/section, with special emphasis on all academic and administrative concerns related to teaching and learning.
  • To conduct teacher evaluation by means of class observations, copy checking and other evaluative procedures. Provide them guidance where required/
  • Keep up to date with curriculum developments and ensure that all members of staff are aware of new initiatives and how they are going to be implemented. Provide support to them.
  • Maintain the soft board of school.
  • Arrange appointments with parents of weak students.
  • Assist the Head in preparing time tables.
  • To arrange meetings and maintain minutes of meetings.
  • Planning and organizing extracurricular activities.
  • To prepare for Midyear and Annual Exams.
  • Calculation and checking of remarks on duplicate reports.
  • Assist in syllabus break-up, and monitoring.
  • Coordination of course coverage.
  • Substitute for absent teachers and maintain substitution logbook.
  • Provide feedback to Head regarding students and stall to ensure smooth communication.
  • Carry out regular assessment of studentsโ€™ performance and analysis of data.
