WE’RE HIRING! Site Engineer (Coal Mining) – Lakhra
EXPERIENCE: 07 to 10 years of relevant experience in Coal Mine Industry
QUALIFICATION: Bachelors of Mining Engineering or relevant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the daily operations of the underground coal mine to ensure compliance with operational plans and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with mining operations teams to optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency through informed decision-making.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and inefficiencies, recommending improvements to mining techniques and equipment.
- Monitor production rates and adjust operations as necessary to meet established targets.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for ongoing mining operations.
- Implement and enforce safety and environmental procedures in accordance with local, federal, and company regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead safety training sessions, fostering a culture of safety among all mine personnel.
- Train mine staff on safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Conduct geotechnical assessments to ensure the stability of mine structures and compliance with local geological conditions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain positive relationships with site team to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely provision of materials and services and enhance overall production operations.
- Maintain accurate records of mining activities, production planning & statistics, and safety incidents.
