Pakistan Refinery Limited is seeking profiles for the position of Engineer Operations in our Operations Department. The ideal candidate should be a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
JOB TITLE : Engineer Operations
REPORTS TO : Shift Manager Plant Operations
Job Purpose: The Engineer Operations is responsible for reviewing the daily operating data, optimizing chemical and lubricant consumption, supporting plant test runs, and suggesting the improvements. The incumbent is expected to monitor fuel consumption, prepare shutdown procedures, and examine the production losses for ensuring the compliance with National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQs). The incumbent is responsible for implementing the Permit to Work (PTW) system to ensure safe maintenance activities at the plant and to prevent equipment failures. In case of emergency, the incumbent is expected to shut down equipment or the plant as directed by the Shift Manager. Immediate reporting of incidents to management and assisting in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) is essential.
Education: B.E. / BSc. (Chemical Engineer)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Relevant Experience
Technical Competencies: Process Conditions Control & Troubleshooting,
Asset Control & Maintenance, Emergency Risk Management, Energy & Mass Balance, Plant startup & Shutdown, PTWS, Shift Operations, Process Calculations.
Non-Technical Competencies: Decision Making, Teamwork, Flexibility & Adaptability, Creativity & Innovation, Result Oriented.
