01 Position/ Job Title: Senior IT Service Desk Analyst (AVP / VP)

Reporting to: Unit Head IT Service Desk





Educational Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelorโ€™s in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from aย  local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having a Masterโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent and I or relevant certification will be preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 05 years of experience as IT Service Desk Agent or in a related role
  • Candidates having experience of working in a financial and I or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required

  • Good understanding and knowledge base of IT Service Management tool
  • Good understanding of service desk operations, incident, problem and request management
  • Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skill both written and spoken
  • Ability to understand end-user expectations in resolving incidents and fulfilment of requests
  • Desire to work within a cohesive, high-performing, and close-knit team
  • Passion to learn, grow, succeed, and be challenged
  • Ability to work under pressure

Outline of Main Duties I Responsibilities

  • To implement IT Service Management application within the organization and its administration
  • To manage 24/7 IT service desk operations
  • To ensure that the help desk team delivers flawless customer services in managing incident restoration and service requests fulfilment
  • To monitor the duties of service desk team members to ensure that client inquiries are promptly attended and responded to
  • To understand the expectations of end-users for incident resolution and service request to improve end-user experience
  • To lead and direct team members to make sure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) must be in place with relevant support teams
  • To perform initial assessment, research, and resolution of basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and / or infrastructure components
  • To supervise team for providing first level support through handling of incoming queries and help requests from end-users, either via email or over the phone
  • To apply skills and expertise to resolve technical incident tickets reported at service desk as L1 support before referring them to next level and inform end-users about the progress
  • To oversee teams to ensure that incidents / requests are timely logged and tracked from identification through resolution stages
  • To follow-up of reported complex incidents to ensure that they are resolved, requests are filled, and customer communication is complete
  • To ensure that all necessary information is obtained from end-users for resolution of incidents or fulfilment of request accurately
  • To establish relationships with other support teams through frequent constructive communication
  • To handle customersโ€™ issues or requests with professional attitude
  • To ensure efficient utilization of IT Service Management tools within service desk operations
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

02 Position/ Job Title: Systems Administrator โ€“ AIX / Linux (AVP / VP)

Reporting to Unit Head โ€” Systems Administration (AIX / Linux)

Educational/ Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelorโ€™s in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having a Masterโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent and / or relevant certification will be preferred Experience
  • Minimum 05 yearsโ€™ experience of systems administration in the relevant field
  • Candidates having experience in a financial and / or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required

  • Desire to work within a cohesive, high-performing, and close-knit team
  • Sound knowledge of key components i.e., kernel, hardening, system files & security setup
  • Passion to learn, grow, succeed, and be challenged
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To manage Linux platforms and perform day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of production, development, and testing environments
  • To manage Linux environments for upgrade, migration, maintenance and patching activities
  • To troubleshoot critical issues on Linux Servers to provide adhoc support for system recoveries
  • To perform backup activities and conduct routine hardware and software audits of Linux servers to ensure compliance as per the standards, policies, and OEM configuration guidelines
  • To automate technical operational tasks involving creation and management of shell / bash scripts
  • To provide 24/7 Linux operating support; provide quick resolutions and escalate issues / incidents to line manager and vendor as required
  • To ensure disaster recovery (DR) drills, regular backups restoration and support for validation activities be extended at regular intervals
  • To proactively identifying and resolving common root causes of issues and addressing those to improve the overall quality of production stability
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

03 Position/ Job Title: Systems Administrator (0G-11 / OG-I)

Reporting to: Unit Head โ€” Systems Administration (Windows)

Educational/ Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelorโ€™s in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university I college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having a Masterโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent and / or relevant certification will be preferred Experience
  • Minimum 03 yearsโ€™ experience of systems administration in the relevant field
  • Candidates having experience of working in a financial and / or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required

  • Desire to work within a cohesive, high-performing, and close-knit team
  • Passion to learn, grow, succeed, and be challenged
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To manage centralized end point security solutions (AV / EDR I XDR)
  • To manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance and patching activities related to all on-going projects and assignments
  • To manage and implement security standards i.e., encryption, security certificates, etc.
  • To perform backup activities and conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance as per the standards, policies, and OEM configuration guidelines
  • To monitor the performance and implement required changes for performance enhancement with maximum uptime to ensure seamless service delivery from the production systems
  • To promptly escalate anomalies or any suspicious activities related to procedures as per the laid down process
  • To maintain and manage virtualized environments
  • To plan and make changes where necessary related to SIEMs solution for integration and management
  • To manage Microsoft Exchange Servers 2016 / 2019, including administration of Office 365
  • To manage Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows PowerShell scripting
  • To manage Hyper-V servers along with management of VDI infrastructure
  • To manage SCCM, DNS and DHCP, ROOT CA Servers along with management of certificates installed on various windows-based applications
  • To remediate Windows based servers based on VA assessments
  • To troubleshoot hardware and software issues on servers and other related devices and diagnose the cause of problems
  • To escalate incidents to other teams, investigate and provide suitable solutions where possible
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

04 Position/ Job Title: Backup Administrator (0G-11 / 0G-1)

Reporting to Unit Head โ€” Backup & Replication

Educational/ Professional Qualification

  • Minimum Bachelorโ€™s in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC
  • Candidates having a Masterโ€™s degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent and / or relevant certification will be preferred Experience
  • Minimum 03 yearsโ€™ experience of Backup Administration in the relevant field
  • Candidates having experience in a financial and / or large-scale enterprise(s) will be preferred

Other Skills/ Expertise/ Knowledge Required

  • Desire to work within a cohesive, high-performing, and close-knit team
  • Expertise of Virtual Tape Libraries for backup and recovery effectiveness
  • Passion to learn, grow, succeed, and be challenged
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To design backup infrastructure which meets the backup requirement of applications
  • To perform storage, backup administration, and operational tasks in compliance with specific product requirements, and organizational SLAs and OLAs
  • To create formal documentation and standardize formats for detailed work plans, procedures, and policies
  • To manage existing backup solutions and provide periodic reports to senior management
  • To perform proactive checks, create automated scripts, and packages that make operations more efficient
  • To conduct research and recommend solutions for operational improvement
  • To be responsible for managing all aspects of backup infrastructure, including but not limited to, installation, monitoring, backup & recovery, provisioning, and performance tuning
  • To work effectively across various teams / customers of BAS (Backup and Storage) services
  • To develop technology standards and establishment of performance guidelines to support daily operations of backup and storage infrastructure
  • To provide Tier-II support and trouble-shooting of enterprise level backup solution (DELL EMC Data Domain, Networker & Avamar, IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), Veeam BR, Symantec NetBackup, etc.) and storage management solution
  • To do capacity planning to ensure sufficient resources to meet IT I business requirements
  • To ensure DR drills, regular backup restorations and support for validation activities to be extended at regular intervals
  • To proactively identify and resolve common root causes of issues and addressing those to improve the overall quality of production stability
  • To provide 24/7 support, as required
  • To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s) Assessment Test / Interview (s) Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for test and I or panel interview (s). Employment Type The employment will be on contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management.
