Imtiaz is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented “Finance Manager – Inventory” to lead and manage all inventory-related financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, supporting stock valuation, and driving controls across inventory processes for effective financial reporting and operational efficiency.

Location: Head Office, Karachi.

Qualification:

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CA, ACCA, or ICMA qualified candidates will be preferred.

Experience:
10+ years of relevant experience in inventory accounting and financial operations, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.

Job Description:

Lead the financial aspect of inventory operations, including (but not limited to) system and physical reconciliations, IRA maintenance reporting, adjustments, and other day-to-day functions.
Maintain ongoing and continuous liaison with Management and the CFO for inventory finance structuring, strategic reporting, special projects, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Support cross-functional teams in developing inventory-related systems, including policies, procedures, hierarchies, and ERP configurations (SAP, iVend, Qlik).
Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and enhance stock management systems.
Lead and manage the finance inventory team, ensuring effective delegation, administrative support, and operational smoothness.
Drive data and analytics within the inventory scope, defining data sources, types, and integration to ensure BI reports and dashboards are relevant, accurate, and timely.
Manage and ensure accurate accounting of inventory transactions across all business units.
Monitor and analyze stock levels, movements, and variances while ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation.
Oversee inventory valuation processes in line with accounting standards and best practices.
Lead monthly and quarterly closing processes for inventory accounts.
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to support periodic inventory audits and ensure transparent reporting.
Develop and implement strong internal controls to minimize inventory shrinkage, misstatements, or leakages.
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
Generate and present inventory-related reports and dashboards to management, enabling effective business decision-making.
Carry out any other tasks or special assignments as directed by the Head of Finance.
