𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: DVM
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 3+ years of relevant experience in the Health Department of a Corporate Dairy Farm
Strong knowledge of 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
Ability to 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and maintain proper veterinary records.

𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗝𝗢𝗕 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and conduct regular health checks.
𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 diseases, infections, injuries, and other health conditions in dairy animals.
Develop and implement 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀.
Supervise 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹, 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀.
Monitor 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 and coordinate with the relevant Livestock/ET teams.
Maintain accurate records of 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.
Ensure proper 𝘂𝘀𝗲, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀.
Conduct 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 and identify potential animal health risks.
Advise farm management on 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
Coordinate with farm staff to ensure 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹𝘀.
Prepare 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 on herd health and veterinary activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable 𝘃𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀.
