Power Plant Location:Near Sahiwal, Punjab

Job Type: One Year Contract based position

Minimum Qualification: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Commerce/Engineering)

Experience:

At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in sourcing/supply chain at a power plant or in the Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, or similar industry.

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Sourcing Specialist will assist the Sourcing Specialist for the Combined Cycle Power Plant O&M sourcing activities. This responsibility includes the development, communication, and execution of strategies to ensure the realization of business objectives.

Roles & Duties:

To process purchase requisitions and float RFQ to appropriate vendors.
To Process Bid comparison and creating PO as per recommendation from requisitioner.
To Issue POs to vendors for execution.
To Follow-up with vendors for delivery of POs within the lead time.
To resolve any discrepancy related to PO deliveries.
To Follow up with Store Team for conducting Inspection within the timeline.
To raise any concern related to deliveries with Vendors/End users.
To Process Invoices as per payment terms mentioned in PO.
To Follow up with Finance team for timely payment to vendors.
To follow the tasks assigned by the Sourcing Specialist/Plant management related to savings, comply works, qualifications or any other task assigned and maintain sourcing/site assigned KPIs.
To generate annual vendor evaluation as per IMS procedure to evaluate the vendor’s performance.
To manage contracts for services at site for annual services.
To Participate Weekly/Monthly meetings or as required by the management.
To Present Sourcing Reports as required by the management.
To keep readily accessible records of all the documents related to procurement / sourcing.
To comply, fulfill and follow all assignments / tasks, fall in workflow through CMMS.
To comply with EHS policies and procedures as adopted and implemented at site.
To comply with all ISO requirements as described in Quality and EHS Manuals
To carry out all procurement related work in the absence of Sourcing Specialist.
Any other duty assigned by the senior management.
To be responsible for housekeeping of his assigned plant area and participate in Zonal monthly housekeeping inspections.
To carry out and complete all EHS related Tasks and trainings with in the assigned target date, these tasks can be assigned via Compliance Calendar, MAXIMO, Action Tracking system, Concern report, Power Inspection tool, from management/Supervisor etc.
Carry out pre-use checks for all tools, equipment’s and PPEs prior every use.
Ensure his visitors / contractors induction process is followed as per site induction procedure.
