Position Purpose: Select field trials land as per requirement of trials and business both for chemical and trait trials.

• Plant crops (chemical & trait) for trialing purpose or explore standing crop with cooperative farmers for field trials purpose.
• Look after the crop/s individually or along with cooperative farmers, for testing the chemicals and traits.
• Take care of all practices related to field crop and its safety under the umbrella of stewardship. Also, get trainings on technical, safety and stewardship and any other as needed.
• To be responsible for safe, correct and timely application of the chemicals.
• Record data in field and be responsible for its integrity and timeliness, safety and security. Moreover, responsible to put the data in excel and share to line manager.
• Will travel and stay as per trials planting requirements and field trials tours.
• Ensure stewardship compliance as well as do not compromise on health and safety matters.
• Organize field tours and manage the locations for site visits of regulators and related stake holders.
• Record field observations in black & white and in pictorial form.
• Carryout activities in addition to above mentioned as per business requirement and instruction.

Qualifications: Education

Minimum B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture with major subject Entomology, Pathology and Agronomy.

Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in agriculture R&D of rice, cotton, maize and vegetables.

Key skills

• Communication (Ability to communicate in local languages).
• Good numerical skills.
• Good Urdu / English writing skills.

Other Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

• General crop and pest knowledge.
• Capable to interact and work with farming community.
• Ability to handle / manage people from different social and educational background.
• Ability to record data, put in excel sheet and maintain crop record.
