We are looking to add a member to our Industrial Engineering team, who is an expert in optimizing production processes, improving productivity, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources. A good fit for this role would be ideally someone who has the ability to play a pivotal role in elevating the business to create a benchmark amongst best industry practices.
The major areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate are:
- Collaborate with the production team to determine the necessary machinery and manpower needed for efficient production processes.
- Perform detailed time studies for different articles produced in our manufacturing facility.
- Balancing & setting production line layout.
- Conduct thorough assessments of the production line layout and utilize lean manufacturing principles to optimize the arrangement to enhance efficiency.
- Continuously explore and develop new methods and techniques to improve production ease.
- Develop strategies to enhance operator capacity and performance and provide guidance and support to operators to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct Skill evaluation Test for new hiring.
- Conduct training sessions for supervisors and in-charges to enhance their leadership skills and improve overall productivity. Provide guidance on effective communication, team management, and problem-solving techniques.
- Good analytical, interpersonal and pressure handling skills and has an ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership.
- Is a fresh graduate or has maximum 1 year of (relevant) experience in the Industrial Engineering department of an apparel manufacturing concern.
Qualification Requirements: Bachelors of Business Administration/Commerce or an equivalent qualification.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
