The British Council Pakistan is recruiting for Head of Business Development based in Lahore.
PURPOSE OF JOB: Formulate and implement business development strategies through coordination of the business development team’s efforts to create new business and sustain current accounts ·
Continually refine the sales process and ensure that the business development team work effectively and prioritise workloads to generate leads for the Exams division through market and client research ·
The position will be a core part of the Exams national management team

The British Council’s Exams Department has set in place an ambitious plan to ensure its growth and greater impact in a fast changing, global environment. To do this, the department will be engaging and working more directly with partners, both internal and external from all sectors. The Exams Department has grown into a significantly large revenue business. It is now one of the largest operations within the British Council global network. Due to the scale of the operations, the organization requires a team to manage its business development and marketing function
Team Structure ·
This team will be headed by the Director of Business Development. The position for Head of Business Development has four direct reports comprising Business Development Managers as well as an Administration Officer. The related team will be based out of Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi and each direct report will be managing a medium sized sales team remotely. ·
The position will be responsible for formulation and the implementation of business development strategy of the Exams department operating nationally for all the exams product lines.
