Job Description:

  • Receiving annual/monthly admission targets from authorities at the Gymboree Head Office and work towards achieving those
  • Preparing daily and monthly admissions report and present it to the supervisor for analysis
  • Coordinating with supervisor for every event’s preparation and task’s checklist
  • Identifying and pursuing potential sponsors for events by analysing customer demographics and pairing them with potential sponsoring businesses
  • Arranging the terms of sponsorship by either securing sponsorship in the form of money or in the form of bartering services
  • Capturing and covering all events by photographing the activities in a comprehensive manner
  • Collating and seeking approval of the captured photographs/videos and having them shortlisted by concerned supervisor/authority
  • Uploading the photographs/videos on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc) to inform active parents and convert potential parents
  • Maintaining and updating the Centre-specific Facebook pages
  • Constantly supervising the reception area to greet and guide parents and walk-ins
  • Providing any and all kinds of information to parents of enrolled students as well as walk-in prospective parents. The information may include brochures, hand-outs, and flyers of upcoming events and routine queries about the activities and programs of the centre
  • Attracting potential customers by briefing them about upcoming events
  • Coordinating with the Centre Coordinator to arrange previews and demos for any prospective clients
  • Following up with potential parents via phone calls, emails, social media etc to provide details on upcoming events and promotions
  • Photographing all daily highlights of Gymboree Centre activities to be shared on social media
  • Any other task or project as assigned by the management from time to time

Job Description:

  • Tender searches through various media related to the education sector.
  • Assist in proposal development for all clients through tender searches and business development meetings (RFPs, EOIs etc).
  • Attend pre-bid meetings for the proposals in which PDLC is interested in.
  • Liaison with clients for project based information and/or proposal development. This also involves performing analysis to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Assist in preparing a range of reports for our clients on the ongoing projects (ie monthly, quarterly, final project reports).

Job Description:
Library Management:

  • Develop a school visit schedule with immediate supervisor for approvals
  • Directly contact SH for school visits as per schedule
  • Travel to schools across the designated region and conduct physical site inspection at libraries in schools
  • Visit schools for handing and taking-over cases
  • Receive library budget through the RD
  • Compile the data, divide the budget into SGOs with the help of immediate supervisor and assistant officer
  • If required, contact vendors, take catalogue details from vendors, share it with the SH for confirmation of orders
  • Maintain a list of book requirements, three times a year
  • Ensure book requirements form is filled by librarians and returned
  • Check the book requirements; filter out the extra ones, place orders through the Regional Procurement Manager
  • Liaise with Procurement with status report of orders delivery etc
  • Responsible for visiting libraries for stock checking

Library Initiatives:

  • Conduct research with the immediate supervisor on defining new library initiatives to develop and improve the library systems in BSS schools
  • Compile all data and develop strategic plan for implementing the project etc
  • Responsible to coordinate with relevant stakeholders for managing the implementation of new initiatives
  • Coordinate with SH for setting up of new libraries in new campuses
  • Visit schools for site inspection and layout of libraries

Trainings Management:

  • Based on observations made during school visits, feedback of librarians by SH, training needs are identified
  • Develop trainings outline and trainings with immediate supervisor
  • Develop the training schedule; liaise with SH, to share the schedule of the training
  • Invite librarians and assistant librarians from schools and conduct trainings on BEAMS library module
  • Ensure effective implementation of trainings
  • If required, go on site and observe the training and its impact
  • If required, research and develop trainings, training material for SH

BEAMS library module:

  • Responsible for the creation of purchase requests sent from all schools
  • Fill in purchase request distribution detail and submit it on time
  • Maintain the store stock inventory system through the BEAMS library module
  • Make any relevant changes to the BEAMS library module of regional offices providing support to the regional librarians
  • Manage all of the following components of the book; book title, report generation, disposal note, stock accession, stock entry and issue of stock
  • Assist immediate supervisor to make any modification in the BEAMS library module for more efficient library procedures

Job Description:

Curriculum development and redesigning:

  • Review curriculum documents, identify problems and develop needs analysis of books and curriculum for the Primary–Middle years
  • Establish communication with SH and arrange coordination meetings with Art teachers in to solicit input on problem identification
  • Collaborate with regions for reviewing and feedback for suggested changes in the curriculum documents and resource packs
  • Once approved, all relevant feedback is incorporated
  • Liaise with publishers for the development of the sample print
  • Circulate the first draft to all relevant CCs and stakeholders; ensure feedback is incorporated once reviewed
    Provide final feedback to publisher and ensure changes are made chapter/unit wise as second draft prints
  • Share the second draft with Regional Art Coordinators for reviewing
  • After the approval is received from Regional Art Coordinators, provide the feedback to publisher for the third draft
  • Back and forth of document till ensured there are zero errors, and finally ready for publishing
  • Upload the revised curriculum on learning center
  • Implementation & Evaluation of current and proposed curriculum in schools:
  • Coordinate with the Regional Art Coordinators and school art teachers to pilot the curriculum books and resource packs in specific schools
  • Communicate with Regional Art Coordinators and Art teachers to collect feedback once curriculum books and resource packs are reviewed for any short-comings, make amendments as required
  • Mainstream for a set period of time and move to the next grade for the same process
  • Conduct random classroom observations to assess the effectively the teachers are implementing the change
  • Assess the students through student evaluations how comfortable they are with the change in curriculum
  • Attend meetings for review and feedback on observations and take actions accordingly

Induction & Training Management:

  • Identify training and development needs through classroom observations or through feedback of Art Teachers
  • Form is filled by her, identify training needs based on observations
  • Develop specific training workshops according to needs analysis
  • Annual list of training availability sent to Regional Art Coordinators and for needs analysis
