General Conditions & Instructions:

1. Selection will be made on walk in interview basis.

2. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of academics as per WAPDA Recruitment Policy/SOP.

3. The upper age relaxation of 05 years instead of existing 03 years only for this specific recruitment (one time exemption) shall also be admissible.

4. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 10 years for Govt. / WAPDA employees who have completed 02 years regular service on the closing date of receipt of applications.

5. Employees of WAPDA (Balochistan domiciled) working on daily wages/contingent/Budget Estimate only have been granted special age relaxation which is equal to number of their years of service in WAPDA e.g., 30 years (eligibility) + 05 years service in WAPDA then eligibility age will be 35 years.

6. Age will be calculated on closing date of receipt of applications.

7. The candidates already serving in WAPDA shall apply for NOC through WAPDA HR Division before closing date of advertisement.

8. Govt. employees may apply through proper channel and submit requisite NOC / permission.

9. Educational Certificates / Degrees must be verified from HEC Recognized Universities / Concerned Boards / Institutes.

10. Original documents shall be presented by the candidates at the time of interview.

11. The initial appointment shall be on probation for a period of 01 year and regularization subject to satisfactory performance. However, the services may be dispensed with without any notice in case of unsatisfactory work & conduct during the probation period.

12. The appointment of Trained Graduate Teachers and Staff Nurses will be made on contract or lumpsum basis and shall not be regularized.

13. The candidates who have been weeded out of service on disciplinary ground as well as dismissed or debarred for future employment are not eligible to apply.

14. WAPDA reserves the right to withhold / cancel the recruitment process at any stage. The number of posts can be decreased or increased during the recruitment process as per requirement of the Department for selection of suitable candidates.

15. No TA/DA will be admissible to candidates for interview.

16. Applications carrying incomplete / incorrect information or received after last date shall be rejected.

17. Any information of candidates found bogus at any stage during induction or later in service shall result in termination thereof.

18. In the light of the Federal Govt. approval conveyed vide Establishment Division O.M. No. 2/5/2026-BECF/001, dated 22.10.2026, following one time exemption will also be admissible:-

“For identified posts up to BPS-16 requiring trainable skills, such as typing, shorthand or basic computer proficiency, a one-time relaxation of the requirement to possess the prescribed skill at the time of initial appointment is proposed. In case none of the candidate have any certifications at the time of the selection, the selected shall acquire the prescribed proficiency through departmental on the job training after joining within probation period. Their proficiency shall be assessed before confirmation, and failure to acquire it shall be dealt with under the applicable probation and service rules.”
