Job Description:
Supervise day-to-day vehicle assembly shop operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Plan and monitor production activities in line with daily, monthly, and annual targets.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and Toyota Production System (TPS) principles.
Monitor line efficiency, takt time, cycle time, manpower utilization, defects, rework, and production losses.
Identify production bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, Jidoka, and waste reduction.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and other relevant teams to resolve operational issues.
Develop and monitor KPIs related to productivity, quality, cost, delivery, safety, and manpower efficiency.
Lead, coach, and develop team members through on-the-job training and performance management.
Support the implementation of new models, processes, equipment, and engineering changes while ensuring workplace safety and process compliance.
