Bahria Town Karachi is seeking a highly experienced Chief Fire Officer to direct and lead our fire and rescue emergency operations. Candidates should hold a BS in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Management or a related field (NEBOSH, IOSH, or Fire Safety certifications preferred) with 10+ years of progressive experience managing firefighting teams and emergency response operations in an executive leadership role.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: BS in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Management or a related field (NEBOSH, IOSH, or Fire Safety certifications preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience managing firefighting teams, emergency response, and rescue operations in an executive leadership role.
- Core Skills: Technical expertise in fire hydrant and sprinkler systems, incident command structures, and compliance standards.
- Competencies: Strong crisis management skills, strategic decision-making, and the leadership to direct high-pressure operations.
- Preference: Priority will be given to candidates with experience managing large-scale municipal, corporate, or industrial fire departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement comprehensive fire safety plans, SOPs, and emergency response procedures across all facilities.
- Direct daily firefighting team operations, fire risk assessments, and disaster and crisis management strategies.
- Inspect, maintain, and oversee fire protection infrastructure, including fire hydrant and fire sprinkler systems.
- Conduct regular emergency drills, fire investigations, and root cause analyses following critical incidents.
- Lead high-pressure emergency response, rescue operations, and overall township safety compliance.
