Kohsar University Murree, invites applications from Pakistani Nationals (ONLY PUNJAB DOMICILED) for the Positions tabulated below.

1. Personal Assistant (BS-16)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 21 to 35 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. BS (second division) in English or Management Sciences or Computer Sciences or Sociology or Public Administration or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- ii. Five years post qualification relevant experience.

2. Computer Operator (BS-15)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. Bachelor’s degree (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission;

ii. Three months Computer Training Course or Diploma in MS Office from a recognized institute; and

iii. Forty words per minute typing speed on computer in English.
- OR
- i. BCS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- ii. Forty words per minute of typing speed on computer in English.

3. Senior Store Keeper (BS-14)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. Bachelor’s degree (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- ii. Three years post qualification relevant experience.

4. Hostel Warden (BS-14)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 25 to 40 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. BS (second division) or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- ii. Three years post qualification relevant experience.
- OR
- i. Bachelor’s degree (second division) from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and
- ii. Five years post qualification relevant experience.

5. Junior Clerk (BS-11)

No. of Posts: 06
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board;
- ii. Twenty-Five words per minute typing speed on Computer in English; and
- iii. Proficient in M.S. Office or any other compatible office application.

6. CCTV Technician (BS-11)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. Higher Secondary School Certificate (second division) from a recognized board; and
- ii. Diploma in relevant field from a recognized institute.

7. Cook (BS-05)

No. of Posts: 01
Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
Required Qualification and Experience:
- i. Secondary School Certificate (second division) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board; and
- ii. Two years post qualification relevant experience.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Applicants are required to download the prescribed Application Form from the University’s official website, www.kum.edu.pk, and submit their duly completed applications, along with all academic transcripts/degrees and other supporting documents, on or before 14th September 2026 (before closing hours). The complete dossier, in hard form, must be submitted through courier only to the University Address “Registrar Office, Admin Block, Kohsar University, Kashmir Point Murree”. Applications/dossiers submitted by hand or through email shall not be entertained.
No column of the application form should be left blank. Particularly, the postal address and contact numbers, both landline and mobile numbers, must be mentioned.
It is the candidates’ responsibility to ensure that all relevant information has been provided.
Candidates are strictly advised not to provide invalid documents. Documents containing any ambiguity will not be accepted.
Applicants are required to submit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 500/- for BS-15 & BS-16 and Rs. 300/- for BS-14 & below through Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of the Treasurer, Kohsar University Murree. The processing fee may also be deposited in the online account titled “Treasurer, Kohsar University Murree”, Account No. 5310217206400050, The Bank of Punjab.
The decision of the University regarding the applicability of the Defined Pension Contribution Scheme to successful candidates who are not in regular government service shall be final and binding.
Applicants must provide the No Inquiry/Audit Pending Certificate from their current organization/institution and, where applicable, from their previous employer(s)/organization(s).
Applicants applying for more than one post shall submit a separate application form for each post.
Candidates already in the service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through the proper channel.
A candidate may be disqualified at any stage of the recruitment/selection process for providing fake documents or false information.
A copy of valid CNIC, recent passport-size photographs, and proof of transfer of the processing fee must be submitted with each Application Form. All documents should be attested, and the Job Application Form should be completed in all respects. The University is entitled to reject any incomplete Job Application Form.
Only Punjab-domiciled candidates are eligible to apply.
All experience claimed by the applicant shall only be considered if candidate produces/attaches documentary evidence and is duly verified by the respective Employer(s).
Applicants applying for more than one post shall submit a separate application form with necessary documents, complete in all respects. Please clearly write the name of the post applied for, on top right side of the envelope.
Applicants having foreign degree/s will be required to provide Equivalency Certificate from HEC/IBCC, Islamabad, within due date.
In case of a foreign degree or certificate, transcribed in any foreign language (other than English), an English translation must be provided from a recognized institute within due date.
Distinction marks can only be granted after the provision of an authentic document issued by the Controller of Examinations within the due date.
For those DMCs, transcripts, where the percentage of marks is not mentioned, a certificate regarding the percentage of marks should be provided from the University/Institution concerned.
Eligibility in all respects shall be reckoned on till the closing date.
Quota (Women/Disability/Minorities) will be observed as per Government of Punjab directions subject to maturity and availability of the post. If seats are not matured against quota, all such applications will be converted to open merit.
Candidates must meet minimum and maximum age limits on the closing date of application submission. However, age relaxation, for appointment by initial recruitment shall be admissible as per policy of the Government of Punjab.
Any deficiency/concealment/misrepresentation of facts by any candidate at any stage will lead to disqualification.
Candidates dismissed/terminated from service or penalized by any University/Government/Department/Autonomous Body/Semi-Government Organization shall not be eligible for the aforementioned posts.
Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/Interview. Short-listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University.
The University shall not be held responsible for any delays or late receipt of hard dossiers/copies/call letters for Test/Interview etc. by the candidates, due to lapses in courier/postal services.
No TA/DA shall be admissible.
The University reserves the right not to fill any post, withhold the appointment against any advertised post, right to convert contractual posts into permanent posts; and permanent posts into contractual posts and to increase or decrease the number of posts without assigning any reason.
Applications shall NOT be processed if: a. Hard copy of the prescribed application form is not submitted by due date. b. Processing Fee is not submitted. c. Required Documents are incomplete.
