Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the food manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving mechanical equipment and production machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot food processing and production machinery.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Identify mechanical faults and minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor machinery performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and maintenance standards.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare-parts requirements.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in the food manufacturing/processing industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and production equipment.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
