SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited for the following post in Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) from the candidates who fulfil the educational qualification, experience, and age limit criteria as mentioned below. Name of Post: Registrar (PEC-21) Selection/Tenure post

Number of Posts (Office Location): One (01) PEC HQ, Islamabad.

Age Limit: Up to 57 Years (Age limit shall be calculated as per closing date of advertisement.)

Eligibility Criteria (Qualification & Experience):

Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering and registered with the Council as “Professional Engineer”, with required computer literacy.

Experience: Minimum 22 years’ experience in BPS-17 or equivalent, out of which 05 years should be in an independent managerial position equivalent to BPS-20.

Experience of Office Management, dealing with Government Department, National/ Multinational/ Public/Private Sector Organizations is essential.
Persons should have excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skill and should possess a pleasant and extrovert personality. Working experience with national or international professional or regulatory bodies will be given preference. Exposure of legal processes and procedures will be an added advantage. The candidate should preferably have trainings and short courses on Leadership, Time Management, Change Management, Stress Management, Coaching etc. Essential knowledge of PEC Act and Bye-laws.
The candidate should preferably possess a high level of strategic vision, exceptional administrative acumen, institutional governance expertise, sound national-level decision-making capability, and demonstrated excellence of senior administrative leadership and management.

Tenure position for three years period, extendable with the approval of Chairman PEC based on satisfactory performance and recommendation of the Selection Board.
Persons serving in Govt./Public/Autonomous organizations must obtain NOC from respective department.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
