Position Title: PM1 to PM2 (Taxation), Finance and Accounting Department — Islamabad
Position Overview:
To oversee the efficient management of the Bank’s taxation matters, ensuring timely preparation and dissemination of financial statements and various reports to statuary regulators.
Key Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for:
- Prepare various withholding tax statements and resolve issues pertaining to withholding tax
- Reporting of all taxes including Withholding Income Tax, Sales Tax, Advance Tax, Quarterly Withholding Tax statement
- Responsible for reporting under various provisions of Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and Provincial Tax Laws
- Conduct Annual Tax training for all Bank employees based on the revised tax legislation
- Provide tax opinions on tax related issue raised by business departments
- Handle all notifications from FBR/PRA/SRA
- Follow up on Litigation cases.
Qualification and Skills Required:
Incumbent should have:
- Minimum qualification should be Bachelors/Masters in Banking / Finance / Economics
- Minimum 03-05 years of experience in Banking Industry or Accounting Firms with Banking Service Experience
- Experience in tax related matters
