Imtiaz is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented “Microbiologist” with hands-on experience in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product safety, conducting microbiological testing and maintaining compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

📍 Location: Karachi.

🎓 Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology / Food Science.

💼 Experience:

3–4 years of relevant experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of microbiological testing techniques and food safety standards.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality systems.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
Perform environmental monitoring (air, water, surface swabs) to ensure hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Identify microbial contamination issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate lab records, reports and documentation.
Coordinate with production and QA teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
