Position: Assistant Manager Chemical – PMD

Location: Plant Site

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualification: B.E. / B.S. / B. Tech in Thermal Power Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
Age & Experience: * Under 35 years of age.
- More than 5 years of work experience in chemical equipment maintenance and repair for 300MW and above thermal power units.
- More than 2 years of work experience in production technical management or maintenance engineer positions.
- Priority given to those with work experience in the production technical department of power plants.
Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with seawater desalination systems (flocculation sedimentation tanks, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange).
- Understanding of seawater electrolysis to produce sodium hypochlorite.
- Understanding of PEM proton exchange membrane hydrogen production systems.
- Knowledge of structural principles, equipment installation, and maintenance for specialized equipment (steam/water sampling, wastewater treatment, etc.).
- Familiarity with relevant technical standards and specifications.

Main Responsibilities

Equipment and technical management, planning, reliability management, fault diagnosis, and safety management.
Analysis of abnormal incidents and development of corrective measures.
Management of spare parts and materials (demand plans).
Preparation of daily and scheduled maintenance plans for specialty equipment.
Management of chemical laboratory procedures (water, coal, and oil testing) and annual instrument requirement planning.
Preparation and revision of professional technical standards, maintenance procedures, document packages, and drawings.
Preparation and revision of chemical procedures and operational document packages.
