Job Title: Sample Room Incharge/Coordinator
Location: S.I.T.E Area, Karachi
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations of the sample room, ensuring smooth workflow and timely sample availability.
- Develop and curate fabric and sample collections in line with current market and fashion trends.
- Maintain and organize the sample room fabric library, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and accessibility.
- Track all fabrics and samples accurately and maintain complete documentation in Oracle ERP.
- Coordinate closely with design and merchandising teams for sample development, revisions, and approvals.
- Ensure proper handling, movement, and inventory control of samples and fabrics.
- Support trend research, fabric selection, and collection development activities.
- Maintain high standards of organization, accuracy, and sample room discipline.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a sample room role within garments or textiles.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and silhouettes.
- Good awareness of current fashion and market trends.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to work.
- Proficiency in Oracle ERP or similar systems for tracking and documentation.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with cross-functional teams.
