Position : PURCHASE EXECUTIVE (BULK PROCUREMENT)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage bulk purchasing of raw materials, packaging, consumables, and other operational items.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders and follow up until material receipt.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and Stores for effective demand planning and procurement execution.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and supplier data.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to support cost optimization.
- Handle supplier issues, delays, and discrepancies efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a relevant discipline.
- Minimum years of experience in bulk procurement or purchasing roles.
- Exposure to manufacturing, pharma, FMCG, or chemical industry will be preferred.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
