Required Documents (Original + 2 Photocopies)

• Educational certificates (verified for 8th class)
• CNIC/Form-B
• Domicile/PRC
• 4 passport-size photos
• Departmental NOC (if already employed in Govt./Semi-Govt. service)

Minimum Education & Eligibility

• Sub Inspector General Duty: FA/FSc or equivalent
• Havildar / Naik General Duty: Matric or equivalent
• Sepoy Clerk: FA/FSc, with 40 wpm typing + MS Office knowledge
• Sepoy General Duty: 8th Class (passed)

Preference: Given to those with higher qualifications, technical diplomas, etc.

Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum 5’-6”
• Chest: 33” (including 1.5” expansion)
• Weight: Minimum 121 lbs (55 kg), as per BMI

Age Limit

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 30 years (as of 30 April 2025)
• Relaxation: 5 years for eligible candidates

Ineligibility Criteria

Candidates are ineligible if they:

• Were dismissed/removed from service
• Are medically unfit
• Are convicted by a court
• Are AWOL from any department
• Submit fake documents
• Retired from armed forces under disciplinary grounds

Mode of Selection

1. Physical Test – Bring joggers/PT shoes
2. Written Test – For eligible candidates
3. Psychological Test / Interview – Shortlisted candidates
4. Final Selection – By DG Rangers (Sindh)
5. Medical Examination – Final at Sindh Rangers Hospital

Training

Selected candidates will undergo initial training at Training Centre and School Pakistan Rangers (Sindh), Super Highway Toll Plaza, Karachi.

Pay & Allowances (Basic Pay Scale – BPS)

• Sub Inspector GD: BPS-13
• Havildar GD: BPS-8
• Sepoy Clerk: BPS-8
• Naik GD: BPS-7
• Sepoy GD: BPS-5

Additional Benefits:

• Free accommodation & house rent for married personnel
• 30% of Basic Pay Scale & 45% for Karachi, Hyderabad & Sukkur

• Only Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) is the authority for final selection.
• Any forged documents will result in disqualification.
• Interference (Sifarish) will lead to disqualification.
• Bring all original documents during recruitment.
