Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high-caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project—the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.

Position: Buyer

• Department: Procurement
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan/Karachi
• Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or business management
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement with strong background in Contract drafting and management
• Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience of SAP and Ariba preferable
  • Strong analytical & communication skills
  • Good knowledge of procurement, negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown
• Responsibilities:
  • Process RFQs, evaluate PRs, conduct vendor evaluations, create POs in SAP, ensure timely deliveries, and coordinate with stakeholders per procurement policies

Position: Procurement Specialist

• Department: Procurement
• Location: Karachi
• Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Law. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, providing support to project teams in a mining or industrial site
• Requirements:
  • Proven procurement and contract management experience
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Experience in procurement software such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or others
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead procurement strategies, manage sourcing and vendor relationships, oversee compliance, drive cost-saving initiatives, and optimize procurement processes

Position: Expediting Officers

• Department: Procurement
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan/Karachi
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain management roles, preferably in the mining or industrial sector
• Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and expedite deliveries, mitigate supply chain risks, ensure timely deliveries, and support procurement efficiency

Position: Site Facilities Coordinator

• Department: Travel & Facilities
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan/Karachi
• Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or a related role
• Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate facility maintenance, vendor management, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and facility operations

Position: Travel Coordinator

• Department: Travel & Facilities
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan/Karachi
• Qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Travel Coordinator, Travel Agent, or similar role
• Requirements:
  • Knowledge of travel management software
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
• Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, maintain records, and provide support for employees

Position: Port Load Master

• Department: Logistics
• Location: Karachi
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in transportation management, logistics, project management, or similar preferred
• Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a logistics/transportation specialist
• Requirements:
  • Knowledge of port regulations and procedures
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cargo loading/unloading, manage transport, and ensure compliance

Position: Cataloguer

• Department: Supply Chain
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
• Qualification: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in library information management or a related field preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years experience in cataloging, records management, or inventory management
• Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in cataloging software, databases, and inventory management systems (SAP)
• Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an organized inventory system, update catalog records, and support procurement

Position: Quantity Surveyor

• Department: Project Controls
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
• Qualification: BSc/B.Tech or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Mining Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience
• Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles
  • Certification from Institute of Quantity Surveyors Pakistan (IQSP) (Mandatory)
  • FIDIC Certification preferred
• Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quantity surveys, prepare BOQs and cost plans, manage contracts, and ensure compliance

Position: Senior Communications Officer

• Department: Communications
• Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
• Qualification: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or marketing
• Requirements:
  • Proven ability to design and create content for digital platforms
  • Expertise in social media, press releases, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Responsibilities:
  • Develop communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and branding initiatives
