SITUATION VACANT

The Irrigation Department seeks to acquire the services of professionals and support staff for the Project Management Office for Emergency Flood Assistance Project (EFAP) Mardan. Applications are invited from suitable candidates fulfilling the below criteria. (Financed by Asian Development Bank)

Vacant Positions & Eligibility Criteria:

1. Deputy Director (Social & Environment)

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years
• BPS: 18
• Number of Posts: 01
• Qualification:
  • Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, or M.Sc. Environmental Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications in the desired field.
• Work Experience:
  • At least 12 years of experience in project implementation and safeguard management (both Social & Environmental).
  • Knowledge of ADB SPS 2009 and Government of Pakistan Rules & Regulations.
  • Experience in handling donor-funded projects such as ADB, World Bank, and USAID.
  • Must be proficient in computer usage.

2. Driver

• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
• BPS: 07
• Number of Posts: 03
• Qualification:
  • Matric with a valid driving license.

3. Office Boy

• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
• BPS: 03
• Number of Posts: 02
• Qualification:
  • Preferably literate.

4. Chowkidar

• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years
• BPS: 03
• Number of Posts: 02
• Qualification:
  • Preferably literate.

✔ In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit a NOC from their respective departments/organizations.

✔ Only shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for an interview.

✔ Selected candidates will be appointed according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Project Policy.

✔ No TA/DA will be granted for interviews.
