FOR THE POSITION OF CHIEF DEVELOPMENT GEOLOGIST

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, a leading E&P Company invites applications for the position of Chief Development Geologist in EG-VI.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: M.Sc./B.S (04 years) Degree in Geology, recognized by HEC with 12 years of relevant post-qualification experience in E& P sector as a Development Geoscientist/Geo-modeler including 8-year hands-on experience in working on the construction of Static Reservoir Modeling and Geology. Expert with Structural Interpretation, Field Development, Fracture Characterization, Reservoir Characterization, Facies Analysis, Geo-modeling Workflow, Uncertainty Analysis, and Volumetric Estimation. Applicant must also possess expertise in Brown Field Revival through the development wells. Additionally, applicant should be advanced Geo-modeler with a strong understanding of all aspects of geology, geophysics, petrophysics and reservoir simulation.

NOTE:

The term of employment will be three (03) years extendable with mutual consent. Open-term contract may be offered upon successful completion of the initial period.
In case of a foreign degree, an equivalency certificate from HEC must be provided.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
The company reserves the right to fill or not to fill the advertised position.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.

FOR THE POSITION OF DEPUTY CHIEF RESERVOIR ENGINEER

Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, a leading E&P Company invites applications for the position of Deputy Chief Reservoir Engineer in EG-V.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum & Gas Engineering (04 years degree, recognized by HEC/registered with PEC) with 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in E&P sector as a Reservoir Engineer including 5-year hands-on experience in Reservoir Simulation (Black oil & Compositional). Applicant must:

possess a comprehensive understanding of Reservoir Dynamic Modeling as well as EOR/IOR and Hydraulic / Acid fracturing of both conventional as well as unconventional reservoirs.
demonstrate expertise in simulation software such as INTERSECT, Petrel (RE) & Eclipse (Office, Black Oil, Compositional, etc.) with the ability to construct simulation models by integrating geological models.
have significant experience in production optimization of oil & gas fields.
be champion in Brown Field Revival and be well-versed in the application of innovative Technologies in hydrocarbon exploitation.
