We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant/Deputy Manager – Sustainability to join our team as a pivotal member responsible for developing and executing sustainability initiatives that align with our company goals. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven track record of successful sustainability initiatives and business development, with knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute sustainability initiatives that align with company goals.
· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
· Collaborate with departments to integrate sustainable practices across operations.
· Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics and performance indicators.
· Lead efforts to reduce the factory’s carbon footprint and energy consumption.
· Identify opportunities for waste reduction and recycling programs.
· Engage with suppliers and vendors to promote sustainable sourcing practices.
· Coordinate community outreach and stakeholder engagement related to sustainability projects.
· Provide guidance and support for obtaining relevant sustainability certifications.
· Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization through training and awareness programs.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
· 3+ years of experience in sustainability or environmental management
· Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
· Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
