Key Responsibilities

Install and support LANs, WLANs, WANs, MANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s network.
Troubleshoot core network connectivity, pin point the problem area and rectify the issue.
Monitoring network performance and compile MIS reports.
Configure network alerts of all critical links and devices.
Thorough understanding of network, routing protocols, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, DNS and DHCP services.
Maintain network high-availability at core level.
Vendor coordination for core network troubleshooting.
Maintain core network inventory and annual principal support.
Maintain internal and external SLAs.
Configure, maintain and support scalable routed & switched networks over Cisco, PaloAlto, Juniper and Fortinet technologies.
Configure, maintain Virtual Private Network.
Coordinates system development, installation and implementation and troubleshoot user support requests.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities & Other Attributes:

Master in Computer Science OR Bachelors in Engineering from a reputed HEC-recognized University/institution.
Four years of hands on experience over LAN/WAN environment with good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, DNS and DHCP Server.
Hands on working knowledge of routing and Switching (Cisco/Juniper), structured cabling, communication technologies and medium (Fiber Optics, Radio links, SDH, DSL, Leased circuits, ISDN/POTs etc), Network monitoring and reporting tools.
Experience with networks with over 200 online users.
Experience with a variety of network topologies.
Network Certification (MCSE/CCNA/Juniper) preferred
Ability to articulate effectively in both oral and written form.
High quality customer service skills.
Strong security knowledge

Duration and Nature of Previous Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience on Network Infrastructure.

This is a full-time position based at our Corporate Office, Gulberg Greens, Islamabad.

Responsibilities:

By using rule based online fraud monitoring system to monitor Debit card, ADC/internet banking related authorizations and transactions to identify any fraudulent behavior and unusual transaction patterns on real time basis.
Identify/detect cases on daily basis, investigate the methods and processes used in fraudulent activities and ensure their completion/closure within the defined turnaround times.
To ensure that all investigations are conducted with full regard to due process rules including principles of fairness, efficiency and confidentiality.
Real time monitoring of RAAST suspected transactions through portal.
Real time dispute handling received through 1link fraudulent transaction dispute handling (FTDH) portal.
To assist in developing and implementation of fraud transaction monitoring rules to detect unauthorized card usage and to detect unauthorized ADC & internet banking transactions.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned by Fraud Monitoring Supervisor, Manager Fraud Investigations and Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Education & Experience:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration/commerce/accounting/ finance or economics from HEC recognized/overseas university.
1 year of experience in banking operations, preference will be given to candidate having relevant experience in fraud monitoring or investigation in a financial institution.

Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity & confidentiality.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of emerging payment systems fraud & security trends.
Good interviewing and interrogation skills along with the capability of drafting reports.
Good organizational skills to manage a high volume of cases.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Willing to travel extensively across KMBL’s network.
