Position: First Aid Attendant / Dispenser
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required,
- 01 years of health technology/dispenser
- course from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 03 years of working experience in primary/secondary/tertiary
- hospitals Experience in pediatrics, surgical units will be preferred.
Job Description:
- The First Aid Attendant will examine and treat minor workplace injuries within the level and
- scope of his first aid training and arrange for further medical help or other emergency services.
- Provides standard first aid treatment for injuries not considered serious, which may include
- cleaning injured areas and applying antiseptic, salves, ointments, or bandages.
- During treatment, maintains compliance with OSHAs standards.
- Observes staff with injuries or illnesses requiring further treatment.
- Maintains required records and documentation including log of injuries and occupational illnesses requiring first aid treatment.
- Maintains adequate inventory of first aid supplies; requests additional supplies when needed.
- Maintains neat and tidy first aid room.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
