Metro Shoes is one of the leading fashion retailers in Pakistan dealing with footwear, apparel, bags and accessories, looking for highly motivated individual as described below: –

Position: Assistant Manager Finance & Taxation
Location: Metro Shoes Production Unit, Sangjani, Islamabad
Qualification: ACCA, CA-Inter, good knowledge of Financial Accounting and Tax Accounting
Experience: 2 years or above in similar capacity

MUST HAVE SKILLS: Handling matters related to financial reporting and taxation. Preference will be given to candidates who have past experience of financial reporting and taxation in a production setup especially in footwear or apparel industry.
Salary: Rs. 70,000/-

Job Responsibilities:

Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of production unit.
Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability.
Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities.
Preparing/analyzing costing sheets to achieve profit margin set by the management.
Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business.
Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets.
Compiling financial reports and supervising month-end processes.
Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the finance department.
Evaluating financial performance, financial stability, and profitability of the production unit.
Providing training to staff members regarding financial processes.
Applying federal, provincial and local codes for tax compliance.
Analyzing tax law regulations to find potential deductions and recognize any deficiencies.
Preparing periodical tax reports, reviewing tax returns on regular basis and preparing them for audits. Filing tax returns by meeting deadlines.
Any other duty relevant to finance and tax matters assigned by the management.
