Job Title: Finance/Accounts Officer – Coal Mining Industry
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance / Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team at our Karachi office within the coal mining industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for SBP laws compliance.
- Timely payment of quarterly principal and interest.
- Maintaining good relationship with local banks and SBP.
- Coordination with financing team for submitting SBP cases and reply SBP inquiries.
- Advising Company for any new or change in SBP laws for implementation.
- Responsible for maintain and organize financial records and documents.
- Support preparation of basic financial data required by headquarter financing team in Shanghai.
- Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA Inter or ACCA will be given priority).
- At least 2 years’ experience in similar role.
- Have good knowledge of SBP Laws, such as Foreign Exchange Manual, Foreign Exchange Regulation.
- Well versed with SBP online portal and be able to prepare cases submission documents such as request letter.
- Good at communicating with banks manager to deal with SBP cases.
- Review all financing documents such as Facility Agreement clauses.
- Cooperate with financing team to fulfill financing and refinancing related work.
- Proficient in English and Chinese will be preferred.
