SITUATION VACANT: Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority requires services of qualified individuals to fill the following vacant posts. Selection will be made purely on suitability and merit.

1. Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-08)

Number of Positions: Seven (07)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized Education Board.
• Hold or have held an ATPL with a type rating on a Commercial Transport Aircraft with MTOW of 40,000 Kg or more.
• At least 5000 hours as Pilot in-Command on Commercial Transport Aircraft with MTOW of 40,000 Kg or more.
• Must have a Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE) or Type Rating Examiner (TRE) endorsement on an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) for commercial aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 40,000 Kg or more.
• Experience in aircraft accident investigation is a plus.
• Must have an understanding of SMS and regulatory oversight functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and report writing skills.
• Computer literacy is essential.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-07
• Pay: Rs. 1,373,230/- per month with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 66 years (including all age relaxations).

2. Additional Director Finance (EG-07)

Number of Positions: One (01)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified CMA/FCMA, ACA/FCA, CPA, CFA, CTP, MBA (Finance), or Masters in Finance from an HEC-recognized university.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in a reputable organization in Finance.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a senior management position related to Finance.
• Preference for candidates who have completed articles from a Big 4 firm.
• Experience in the aviation industry is preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of IFRSs/IASs.
• Knowledge of forecasting, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• In-depth knowledge of SECP regulations and Companies Act 2017.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP (Oracle/SAP, etc.).

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-01
• Pay: Rs. 856,520/- per month with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations).

3. Secretary CAA Board (EG-07)

Number of Positions: One (01)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Sixteen (16) years of education from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a Law or Finance background.
• Minimum of 07 years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years as a Company Secretary or Board Secretariat.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-01
• Pay: Rs. 479,370/- per month with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 57 years (including all age relaxations).

4. Joint Director AAR (Inspector) (EG-05)

Number of Positions: Four (04)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 14 years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Aviation or equivalent.
• Holding a valid ATPL (preferably an active controller).
• Preference for candidates with experience in CAA Regulatory as ANS Inspector framework.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-04
• Pay: Rs. 484,057/- per month with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 63 years (including all age relaxations).

5. Joint Director AT & ER (EG-05)

Number of Positions: Four (04)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Sixteen (16) years of education from an HEC-recognized university in Business Administration, Legal, International Relations, or Economics.
• At least 5 years of experience in Aviation.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-04
• Pay: Rs. 345,457/- per month with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years (including all age relaxations).

6. Deputy Director CAA Board Secretariat (EG-03)

Number of Positions: One (01)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Sixteen (16) years of education from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a well-reputed Government or Private Organization, preferably in HR, Company Secretariat, or Board Secretariat.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-01
• Pay: Rs. 243,375/- per month (negotiable) with 5% annual increment.
• Contract for three (03) years (extendable).

Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (including all age relaxations).

7. Assistant Director PEL (Examination) (EG-01)

Number of Positions: Two (02)
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s (16 years of education) in Aviation Management, Computer Sciences, or Computer Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• Any ICAO License will be preferred.
• Two years of experience handling examinations is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of ICAO Annexes/Documents & ORMs.
• Knowledge of Auditing Techniques.
• Knowledge of QMS & SMS.

Quota & Pay Scale:

• Merit-02
• Pay: Rs. 166,560 – 563,160/- per month.

Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (including applicable rules).

Application Procedure:

(a) Interested candidates are required to fill & submit the Online Job Application Form available at www.pcaa.gov.pk within fifteen days from the date of this advertisement.

(b) Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of certificates/degrees of the required qualification along with the concerned post as mentioned above, updated CV, and CNIC while applying for the job.

(c) Candidates applying for the post of Flight Inspector Pilot (EG-07) will be required to upload a copy of ATPL, containing relevant endorsements, and a copy of the last page of the Log Book containing details of flying hours.

(d) In case a candidate does not upload the above documents with the online application form, his/her application will be rejected.

Terms of Reference:

i) Recruitment for the post of Deputy Director Examination (PEL) (EG-03) advertised vide Situation Vacant Notice No. 07/2024 and Additional Director Finance (EG-07) advertised vide Situation Vacant Notice No. 01/2025 stand canceled/withdrawn.

ii) Candidates not fulfilling the above requirements or submitting incomplete applications shall not be considered.

iii) Tests/Interviews will be conducted at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta for which separate notices will be issued (depending on the number of candidates).

iv) The candidates called for the interview have to produce original documents for necessary verification while appearing for the interview.

v) No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.

vi) Appointment will be subject to CAA’s medical fitness standards.

vii) Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan as per the requirement of PCAA.

viii) Government servants/employees of autonomous bodies/corporations will be required to submit NOC from their current employer before the interview.

ix) Incorrect information or attempts to influence the selection process will lead to disqualification.

x) PCAA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
