Position Title: Manager Product Development
Location: Head Office – Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

Stay abreast with changes in market dynamics, industry trends and competition. Work closely with marketing teams, customer experience and other departments in order to assist in materializing the product plan in an efficient manner.
Assist in periodic review of existing products, including continued validity of investment and marketing strategy, commercial viability, competitive positioning and the ability to meet investor requirements.
Identify the market trends of Mutual Funds industry
Draft concept papers of innovative products for presentation to the Commission
Lead the development and enhancement of mutual fund products.
Conduct GAP analysis & market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
Collaborate with Fund Management to design innovative fund structures.
Liaise with internal stakeholders (compliance, legal, finance) to ensure product alignment with regulatory requirements.
Formation of constitutive documents.
Build strong alliances with internal and external stakeholders.
Keep the product suite updated with regulatory changes and perform GAP analysis.
Screening of new distributors & On-boarding of new distributors
Regulatory updates of existing distributors
Stay abreast with changes in market dynamics, industry trends and competition.
Nationwide training sessions for new joiners of the company
Sales training deck for distributors and sales teams
Product awareness sessions for new products being launched

Required Competencies to successfully perform:

Excellent Communication skills
Strong negotiation skills
Strong Time Management skills
Computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word-processing programs at a highly proficient level.
Profound knowledge of mutual funds’ products and industry knowledge

Required Qualification & Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a reputable / HEC recognized institution or Master’s degree is preferred
Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant industry experience is preferred
