Fatima Group is hiring for Engineer at Fatima Fertilizer Plant Site, Sadiqabad. The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (B.E) in Civil Engineering
Experience: 6 to 8 years of experience with a reputable organization and advanced technical knowledge in concrete and steel structural designs.
Location: Sadiqabad
Department Description: Position requires thorough knowledge of Concrete and Steel Structural design and engineering techniques. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices.
Essential Functions:
- Perform structural design and analysis or calculations using governing codes and standards.
- Provide drawing for own designs and produce drawings.
- Review Structural drawings of Consultants.
- Assume the lead engineers role on execution of any assigned project.
- Develop probable construction cost estimates for his projects within the department.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, etc.
- Handle routine contract administration.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
- Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take and verify measurements within project area.
- Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of retrofitting – rehabilitation of existing structures.
Brief Description
- Designing of Concrete/Steel Structures.
- Concrete/Steel Structural project specifications.
- Concrete/Steel Structural engineering portion of project cost estimates.
- Sound knowledge of ASTM and ACI codes.
Detailed Description
- Expertise in ETABS and StaadPro or equivalent analysis software.
- Working knowledge of Auto Cad or other drafting software.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office.
