Responsibilities:

Part of a world-class team developing leading edge commerce platforms for a global audience
Work with a distributed team in several locations around the world
Produce high quality code, on time and on target
Engineer software through its complete life-cycle
Research and understand product requirements to ensure successful beta test, product launch, etc.
Participate in testing and system integration testing

Requirements:

4+ years’ experience in PHP, LAMP and Web programming
Expert level skills in PHP, HTML/ XHTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery
Magento 2.x Developer
Must have the ability to develop Magento Modules and Customization, Extension Development.
Demonstrable knowledge of API integration, Payment Gateways, Shipping etc.
Full understanding of the Magento themes and templating systems.
Strong understanding of Performance Tuning, Browser Compatibility, SEO Practices, and Version Control.
Skilled in Linux, Apache, MySQL, Postgres
Knowledge of PHP development framework(s)
Experience in Object oriented development
Experience in PHP based forum software would also be a benefit (phpBB, vBulletin, etc)
Good communication skills in English
Experience working with Git and DevOps process
Experience with RedMine, ActiveCollab or other collaborative tools is an advantage
Certifications in PHP and various database technologies is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
