We are looking to add a member to our Engineering (Utilities & Services) team, who is an expert in for overseeing the operational and maintenance activities of Boilers & Oil Heaters, water Turbines, RO & softening Plants, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Supervise and coordinate the operational and maintenance activities of Boilers & Oil Heaters, water Turbines, RO & softening Plants
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the reliability and longevity of machinery
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operation and timely resolution of any issue faced
- Conduct regular inspections of machines to identify potential problems and implement corrective actions to prevent breakdowns
- Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules
- Evaluate the performance of machinery and recommend upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency and productivity
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment repairs, parts inventory, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Good negotiation, strategic, leadership, analytical, interpersonal and pressure-handling skills and has the ability to drive processes through innovation and ownership.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Utilities, preferably in the textile industry with a focus on solid fuel boilers, oil heaters, RO & softening plants. Strong technical knowledge of Boilers, including waste heat recovery systems, pumps, turbines and heat exchangers
Qualification Requirements: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
