Maxim Agri is looking for candidates for the position of Assistant Manager Taxation
AM Accounts & Taxation
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Federal and Provincial Laws for Taxation, customs and FED.
- 3–5 years of experience in accounts and taxation, preferably in agriculture, FMCG or manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business One; exposure to FBR IRIS and e-invoicing integration is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of IFRS (including IAS 12), the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, the Sales Tax Act 1990 and provincial sales tax laws.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, interim and annual management accounts.
- Review payables and receivables for policy and tax compliance.
- Conduct inventory audits, maintain the Fixed Asset Register and coordinate insurance matters.
- Ensure timely federal and provincial tax filings and maintain tax accounting in ERP.
- Monitor tax updates, support tax planning and advise management on tax implications.
- Handle tax notices, audits and disputes with external consultants.
- Handling Insurance matters in liaison with insurance companiies and underwriters.
