Position: Supply Chain Project Trainee
Job Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience may apply.
- Candidates with relevant Supply Chain certifications or professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
Job Description
- Work on a specific Supply Chain project as assigned.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities.
- Support projects related to demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, warehousing, production planning, and cost optimization.
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, cost reduction, process simplification, and automation.
- Develop reports, dashboards, analysis, presentations, and business recommendations based on project requirements.
- Analyze key Supply Chain metrics such as inventory levels, forecast accuracy, stock availability, lead times, procurement performance, logistics costs, and service levels.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Production, Quality, and Procurement as required.
- Conduct relevant research and benchmarking to support project recommendations.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and outcomes throughout the program.
- Translate analysis into practical recommendations that can improve business and Supply Chain performance.
- Present project progress, findings, recommendations, and potential business impact to relevant stakeholders and/or the Leadership Team.
- Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and a continuous improvement mindset throughout the project.

Experience

- Candidates pursuing or having completed ACCA, CA, ICMA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications may also be considered.

- Work on a specific finance project as assigned.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Support projects related to cost optimization, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, financial reporting, controls, or business performance analysis.
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare meaningful insights to support management decision-making.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, reports, presentations, and business cases as required.
- Review relevant processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, cost reduction, or improved controls.
- Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to gather and validate data.
- Translate financial findings into clear and practical business recommendations.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial information.
- Present project findings, recommendations, and potential business impact to relevant stakeholders and/or the Leadership Team.

- Support projects related to brand development, consumer insights, digital marketing, campaign effectiveness, product innovation, category development, or market expansion.
- Develop presentations, reports, campaign concepts, dashboards, research summaries, and business recommendations.
- Support the development and evaluation of marketing initiatives based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, and other relevant functions where required.
- Monitor relevant market and consumer trends and identify potential implications for the business.
- Assist in measuring project or campaign performance through appropriate KPIs.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Present project findings, recommendations, and potential business impact to relevant stakeholders and/or the Leadership Team.
- Demonstrate creativity, ownership, and a consumer-first approach throughout the project.
